This striking stone print collection is a true labor of love. Made 100% Turkish cotton, these pieces are crafted on our hand looms in Babadagh, Turkey, then washed, dried and sent to our block print master—who uses a piece of Linden wood to stamp each fabric with natural dye. This 60" x 86" size can be used as a tablecloth, bedspread, or blanket.

I sleep cold, even in summer. My husband sleeps hot. I need a little more covers and putting this on just my side works out perfectly for us. I love that if I get really chilly I can fold it in half and I've still got enough for me to get to sleep comfortably. It's just heavy enough, yet it stills breaths. And it looks great over the bed. I ended up needing 2 because I also use it to snuggle under while reading in the main cabin and I've used it to cover the settee in the salon when people "drop by". I love them! No other blanket has ever come close! It's so comforting. It's nice to think of all the skilled craftsmen that make these in far away places and got fair wages for their work. The weave is so beautiful. You can tell the people that made it take great pride in what they do. You should grab one while you can! (they wash up beautifully if you're wondering)

Our new Tropical Island collection, made from 100% organic Turkish cotton with a high thread count for an extraordinarily soft towel. Each one is yard dyed for perfect color saturation, available in an extra large beach towel, picnic or beach blanket size. Bath towel is 39x70 and Beach/Picnic blanket is 67x86.

Used for centuries in Turkish hamams, or baths, the pestemal (pesh-te-mahl) is the original “Turkish Bath Towel”. They are a soft and smooth, flat woven cloth, made by hand, usually from cotton, finished with fringes. The hand or hair towel size is called a peskir (pesh-kir).

These towels are known for their eco-friendly properties:

Highly absorbent, quick to dry, and will not collect sand
Lightweight and compact, fold flat, minimizes storage space
Naturally anti-bacterial – will not acquire a musty odor
Environmentally friendly – quick to wash and dry, saving energy
Some of the weaves may need several washings and drying to reach full absorbency and softness
